Hi everyone!

So I'm kicking off this year's summer season with something super essential, one of my favourite things ever, in fact, something I prioritise over basically everything else - FOOD! Today I will be discussing the shop Bubble Mania in Camden.

I could talk forever about the kawaii features Camden is forever updating and revealing - and I probably will! So keep an eye out for more Camden posts coming soon. If you didn't know, Camden is pretty funky. It's pretty edgy. And it's pretty... bubbly!

After regretfully not stopping by at my local Auntie Anne's pretzel while on the way to a filming shoot in London while desperately needing some brunch, something sweet was on my mind. Then, something sweet was in my sight! I turned right out of Camden underground station and was confronted by a tempting MASSIVE Nutella pot floating by a wall on the high street. I was intrigued to say the least. As I got closer, I was not disappointed to see this shop - Bubble Mania.

Bubble Mania is a super cute high street stall selling some really cool sweet treats. If you didn't get the memo already, the theme here is bubbles! They have bubble tea, the classic but still mesmerising bubble waffle in the shape of a filled cone, and something new to me: a bubblepop waffle! This is a line of individual waffle bubbles on a stick coated in toppings. You can customise these items with toppings and fillings of your choice. Don't worry if the amount of choice looks overwhelming! They have some examples out the front (which is what I used to choose what I wanted).

I got a bubblepop waffle with white chocolate and colourful sprinkle stars. They had a jug full of batter ready but I was slightly more reassured to see them pour the waffle mix into a waffle maker thingy so it would taste fresh and hot! They popped the skewer in a cute purple box with a napkin and also a fork just in case, although it was pretty easy to eat straight off the stick as far as big sweet treats go. It was pretty hot at first, which was okay because after a few minutes of snapping those Instagramable shots it was still warm but cool enough to eat. It looked adorable and tasted scrummy!

If bubbles aren't your thing, don't panic! As advertised, they have classic milkshakes, ice cream, skewers of chocolate-covered strawberries or marshmallows, and fill-your-own slushie cups for those not feeling quite as adventurous but still with a great sweet-tooth. There are also adorable purple deck chairs that customers are welcome to sit on which would be lovely when the sun is shining! You're definitely going to need to sit or stand still to eat here as the treat have the possibility to be a bit messy as they are quite big and topped with a lot of melting sauce and showered in sprinkles.

And I have to say the staff were lovely! I'm pretty indecisive due to a tad of anxiety but being greeted and served by such a nice person was really reassuring so thank you to that guy!

See images below of the shop and the treat I indulged in and comment below what you think! Have you eaten here before? Or do you have any other recommendations for desert places in Camden as I know there are many others!

See you next week and stay travelling kawaii style!
